- Developing PLC/HMI solutions for process monitoring and control applications.
- Able to read and write programs for various control systems (Modicon, Allen Bradley, SCADAPack, etc.)
- Able to read and interpret technical documentation (P&IDs, ladder logic, function block code, schematics, loop sheets, manuals, etc.)
- Defining control system designs and documentation.
- Reviewing control system designs with customers and clients.
- Process simulation.
- Specifying and purchasing of hardware/software as required by project.
- Supporting development of software standards for modular, scalable, and reusable solutions.
- Assisting in start-up services, troubleshooting, and training for commissioned systems.
- Willingness to travel – 50% should be expected.
Education - BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
Experience/Qualifications– 3-5 years in the following areas:
- Experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioning PLC/HMI applications with products such as Allen Bradley, Schneider, Indusoft, MapleSystems, and RSView.
- Experience reading and interpreting ladder logic.
- Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI products or Schneider Modicon Products.
- Experience with integrating devices from multiple vendors into a packaged solution.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems and software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented, self-motivated, and results driven.
