Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking an entry level Civil/Environmental Engineer for the Jacksonville, FL office. This individual will provide support on civil, environmental and geotechnical projects. Responsibilities will include:
* Performing field assignments such as groundwater and/or soil sampling, aquatic sampling, and construction quality oversight to support project specific data/information collection requirements;
* Supporting the Engineering and Remediation Group in the performance of technical assignments related to civil and environmental engineering;
* Preparing technical reports, including documentation of field investigative procedures, data management and interpretations, and development of graphical and tabular presentation of data;
* Nuclear gauge operation, testing and sampling of soils;
* Geosynthetics monitoring and testing;
* Geotechnical logging and sampling.

Job Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering is preferred. A BS in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering with an environmental emphasis will also be considered.
* A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required without a Master's degree.
* Good verbal communication and writing skills, able to work well in teams/groups;
* Willingness to travel approximately 50%;
* EIT designation preferred.
* Local candidates will receive primary consideration.

Preferred skills:
* OSHA 40 hour training;
* Sampling in accordance with the State of Florida Standard Operating Procedures;
* Oversight of well installation activities;
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Aqtesolve, EVS, Civil 3D, ICPR and/or MODFLOW;
