Job Description The Physics Department at KFUPM invites applications for faculty positions in the following areas:
1. Experimental atomic and molecular physics
2. Optical and laser physics
3. Nuclear and theoretical physics
KFUPM is a leading university in the Arabian Gulf region with an international repute. It is located on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. The Physics Department has strong research programs with well-equipped experimental facilities in lasers, low-energy nuclear physics, radiation protection, superconductivity, and material science.
Job Responsibility
Candidates will be expected to establish an independent research program and to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Significant funding is available to aid in establishing research programs.

Qualifications
Preference will be given to recent Ph.D. graduates or post docs from reputable institution, strong record of published research, relevant teaching experience at the university level and have teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas.
