Johnson Service Group a leader in Engineering staffing is currently searching for an Electrical Project Engineer with industrial plant experience. The Electrical Project Engineer should have at least 5 year experience with Electrical industrial plant systems.

Description: Electrical Project Engineer will work with project managers, other engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of industrial plant electrical systems. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of engineering project scopes and budgets
  • Preparation and review of equipment and material specifications
  • Electrical system design for power systems 15KV and below. Electrical construction design for installing new equipment into existing process lines including control and network interface to existing equipment.
  • Preparation and review of calculations
  • Engineering review of drawings
  • Bid evaluations
  • Project work plan development
  • Client interface, meetings, interface with vendors, direct work supervision of draftsman on your projects

Qualifications: A BSEE or BSEET degree, 5+ years experience in project engineering, preferably involving steel plants. Good communication skills and experience with project work involving client and contractor interface, plant electrical system design, medium and low voltage distribution systems, control and communication systems, equipment selection, NEC requirements and calculations
