Job DescriptionThe Center for Communications and IT Research at KFUPM is seeking to fill research position with potential candidates showing ability and desire for excellence in Machine Learning research and applications.
Job Responsibility
• Design, develop and test machine learning algorithms for predictive services• Research and prototype new optimization and machine learning solutions for scheduling and forecasting initiatives
• Evaluate, visualize and compare different machine learning and optimization algorithms

Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or another related technical field• Ability to write robust code in Python
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Strong communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present insights and recommendations
• Proven experience with statistical modeling and machine learning
• Expertise in cloud compute environments
• Experience with every part of the machine learning pipeline, not just model building. This would include building scalable preprocessing pipelines, performing distributed training along with monitoring the long-term health of models post-deployment
