Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will support SBC Accounting in the completion of accounting duties as it is related to the Goldstrike mine; prepare general journal entries, review costs for completeness and accuracy; facilitate the preparation of budgets and forecasts; support managers as requested within the scope of accounting discipline and assist site management in understanding their costs; perform other duties as assigned.This position is located at the Goldstrike mine site.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or accounting required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and understanding of business related implication preferred
  • Understanding of financial analysis and reporting required
  • Thorough understanding of planning and budgeting process, internal controls and management reporting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail required
  • Exceptional personal integrity and ethics required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Understanding of PC operations (Word/Excel)
