Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will support SBC Accounting in the completion of accounting duties as it is related to the Goldstrike mine; prepare general journal entries, review costs for completeness and accuracy; facilitate the preparation of budgets and forecasts; support managers as requested within the scope of accounting discipline and assist site management in understanding their costs; perform other duties as assigned.This position islocatedatthe Goldstrike mine site.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or accounting required
Strong knowledge of accounting and understanding of business related implication preferred
Understanding of financial analysis and reporting required
Thorough understanding of planning and budgeting process, internal controls and management reporting preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail required
Exceptional personal integrity and ethicsrequired
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
