Provide corporate office network engineering and implementation
Engineer and implement office pre-build work in support of regional build rooms.
Coordinate with hardware team for engineering and implementation of office pre-build work in the regional build rooms
Configure network hardware
Deploy network hardware in offices
Turn up network hardware in office
Update all documentation pertaining to office deployments, upgrades and decommissions
Update all monitoring tools pertaining to office deployments, upgrades and decommissions
Provide ongoing technical support and problem resolution for office deployments, upgrades, decommissions and general office network problems
Coordinate with the infrastructure team in all aspects of network equipment installation, power, cooling and cabling
Coordinate with the VC team in all aspects of equipment installation, testing and problem resolution
Coordinate with team in all aspects of equipment installation, service testing and problem resolution
Coordinate with team in all aspects of network equipment installation, support and problem resolution for network equipment that enables voice services
Participate in the office environment team weekly meetings
Participate in regular office deployment meetings.
Participate in regular staff meetings
Improve documentation and implementation process
Provide weekly progress updates to the office project manager and the office environment owner
Provide onsite assistance when necessary
Support various teams in developing network standards
Support various teams in developing network projects close out procedures
Attend weekly project manager meetings and provide updates
Requirements
5+ years experience in Network Engineering
CCNP preferred
Experience with Layer 2 protocols
Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
Deployment experience required
