Job Description:

The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs seeks a part-time faculty to teach 1 open section of Sociology 248 – Ethnic Inequalities & Intergroup Relations (3 credits) for Fall ’19

Course Description: This course focuses on the identification of individuals and groups by self and others as members of ethnic categories. Emphasizing ethnic inequalities, group interactions, social movements and change, racism, prejudice, and discrimination.

Qualifications:

A minimum of an MA in Sociology or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to ABD and PhD level students from our program and to others who have previously taught for us.

Job Specific Qualifications:

Evidence of effective teaching experience is necessary.
