Power engineering firm located in the San Diego area is looking for experienced Civil Engineers to work in our San Diego office. BS Civil Engineering degree from an accredited engineering university required to be considered for all engineering positions. 3+ years of relevant experience (respectively) with a utility or engineering firm is required; P.E. certification a plus. REQUIREMENTS:
The Engineer must be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of power systems and will include civil/structural and/or transmission design. The Engineer must ensure all work is performed to the customer’s reasonable expectations in a successful and profitable manner.

For all positions, candidate must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within his/her specialized engineering field; be able to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with fellow team members and customers; be able to read and write English well enough to interpret and use drawings, work orders and instructions manuals; be able to write and print legibly; be capable of establishing performance and delivery criteria for approval by the Manager – Engineering; have good communication and leadership skills and be able to work with a team. Occasional traveling is required for permitting and site visits. Candidate must be able to travel to Louisiana as required for training as the need arises. Mandatory PLS CADD. PLS Pole experience is highly desired. Other heavily used software includes MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Auto CAD 2016.
