Position Summary
As a member of the Registrar Services team, this position will provide individualized and strategic guidance dedicated to support graduate and professional students; provide high level customer service through registration, application, and enrollment; manage student records including but not limited to transcripts, diplomas, affiliation agreements, verifications, certifications, compliance and supplemental documentation; monitor resources designed to improve the student experience, supporting the progression of students through various transitions, matching needs with the appropriate resources; manage student records adhering to University and College requirements in accordance with FERPA guidelines within various systems to include but not limited to VSAS, SIS, COMIIS, FileMaker, eValue, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite; provide interpretation of College and University policies and regulations by assisting students in navigating and adhering to program logistics; work in collaboration with various internal and external partners including but not limited to Federal Financial Aid, University Registrar, and Student Accounts, in support of student success; assist in the creation of online training modules; generate student data reports and audits; serve as back up support to all registrar services; provide support to college events; and complete special projects as assigned. Standard office environment, job requires moderate physical effort and involves sitting in one position and viewing a computer screen 90% of the time.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical school or a related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in maintaining account ledgers, departmental operations, employment, or in performing tasks related to the area of employment; experience in word processing, editing and composing correspondence, and maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
