Civil Engineer-in-Training - A COVER LETTER & RESUME ARE MANDATORY
THIS OPENING IS NOT A STRUCTURAL OR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING POSITION.
The successful candidate will serve as an entry level (0-3 years’ experience) Engineer-in-Training | Civil Engineering Project Coordinator and will be expected to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to learn, take direction, and work within in a team environment.
Responsibilities will include preparation of plans for residential, commercial, retail, and office buildings development projects. Typical tasks include hydrology and hydraulic studies, drainage reports, site plans, grading and utility plans, erosion control plans and roadway design. Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
-E.I.T./ F.E. registration a plus
-B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university - MANDATORY
-A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement.
-Prepare engineering design and plan production on a variety of land development projects.
-Assist with conducting research, performing site evaluations, and preparing drainage reports.
-Coordinate with other engineering teams and the landscape architecture departments within the firm.
-Advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
-Ability to work independently in a team environment & to effectively manage time
-Proficiency in a wide variety of software programs
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-A valid driver's license
