The mechanical engineer will participate in all aspects of Sensera’s mechanical engineering efforts including the design, prototyping, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems for new and existing Sensera products, production tools, and test fixtures. Candidates should be very comfortable using SolidWorks to develop detailed models of parts and assemblies, generate specification drawings, and create work instruction and marketing material.
Candidates should be familiar with good design for manufacturability practices for injection molded, sheet metal, and machined parts, as well as the mechanical design aspects of printed circuit boards. Candidates should understand the use and limitations of various prototyping methods including additive manufacturing, machining, casting, etc. and be comfortable performing shop work.
