We are looking for a Project Manager – DWI Coatingsto join our Packaging Materials team.
You will be required to provide technical support for food and beverage DWI coatings used by Crown Europe plants. You will coordinate projects with coating suppliers other departments and team members to achieve project objectives. This role will require you to evaluate the coatings, make recommendations, write internal technical records and report on project progress in written reports and presentations.
Trial management and coordination with plants, suppliers and sourcing will be required, maintaining compliance with European Trial Management System (TMS), Crown MD and Crown regulatory procedures. Further to this, you will be required to become a technical expert/key contact in technical support to the food and beverage businesses for DWI coatings.
You will also lead innovation and investigate improvement ideas related to your area of expertise and give input into innovation of other coatings/material areas.
Job RequirementsIn order to succeed in this role you will be educated to degree level in Chemistry or equivalent. You will possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant coating related area of the industry. Knowledge of food and beverage coatings, food/beverage processing, lacquer evaluation techniques and analytical techniques would be an advantage for this role. You will be a proactive individual with an innovative way of thinking. You will be self-motivated, highly organised, possess strong leadership skills and dedicated to continuous improvement. You will have experience of presenting and capable of working autonomously and as part of a team. Limited travel may be required.
