We are seeking a Software Engineer to be responsible for developing Microsoft .NET Windows and web based applications for SQL database systems. This individual will join a worldwide team of developers working to revolutionize our internal applications. Engineer must have great communication skills and willing to work with our partner to design, build, distribute new applications. Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Utilizes established development tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
- Support Legacy applications written in VB6 and ASP.net while company migrates away from those languages (prior experience is not an absolute must)
- Use guidelines and conventions including but not limited to .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, UI and C#
- Providing .NET and Windows technologies subject matter expertise to the Windows development communities
- Architect / design / develop / support enterprise scale systems / tools / frameworks / libraries
Software Engineer Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of technical application analysis, design and development
- Minimum 4+ years programming experience working with Visual Studio.NET, Visual Basic.NET
- Minimum 4+ years experience with MS SQL Server, SQL and store procedures
- Need the ability to work as team with individuals form many locations across the globe
- Full ability to analysis, design and development of object oriented reporting tools
- 4+ years experience implementing Microsoft technologies, including development of SQL Server jobs
- Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, and CSS3
- Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client server concepts
- Analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills are a must
