Job Description:
This position is works collaboratively across all levels of University personnel to develop, deploy and monitor the Syracuse Abroad operational budget to ensure funds and allocated to meet the strategic goals and objectives of the University. In conjunction with the Syracuse Abroad Director of Global Operations, this position helps support data driven strategic decision making by analyzing trends, and developing scenario based modelling and long term planning. The position is an important member of the Syracuse Abroad leadership team, and may sometimes interact with relevant staff abroad.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• Master’s Degree in related field (Accounting, Finance, Business, and Economics) or Public Administration or Higher Education (if UG is in a financial field) preferred
• Requires minimum of three years higher education related experience or five to eight years of accounting or finance experience.
