Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Strategy, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in the creation of material for marketing initiatives within the key business segments: Water Utility, Industrial, Fire Protection, Ground Water and Agriculture, and Buildings Trades. This position will be responsible for providing day-to-day marketing support to the sales team and customer base while assisting in the development and implementation of product launches, campaigns and customer events. The administrative and customer service focused duties of this position require attention to detail, self-motivation and flexibility. Working closely to support the broader marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in accelerating sales growth through segment-based marketing within a fast paced, high-growth company that is delivering innovative solutions to critical water and energy efficiency needs.

Key Activities

  • Assist in the creation of materials for marketing campaigns, programs, product launches, trade shows and local events in coordination with the Marketing Segment Specialist, Digital and Content Marketing personnel.
  • Support the field sales organization on day-to-day needs by fulfilling partner requests and delivering content as required.
  • Research competitor advertising campaigns and promotional programs, create summary reports and maintain a database of collected documents.
  • Maintain internal and external marketing material libraries and toolkits by updating documents and archiving historical files.
  • Assist in the creation of written content to promote segment activities on social media platforms in coordination with Communications.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of print and promotional items for campaigns, product launches, tradeshows and customer events.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of customer loyalty programs, collect customer satisfaction feedback and compile KPI data.
  • Maintain and improve customer data and online touchpoints by working with Digital Marketing and Sales Excellence.
  • Provide support to peers pertaining to quality and quantity of work performed. Perform all work in compliance with company policies, branding rules, procedures, legislation, regulation and direction and identify non-compliance situations for resolution.
  • Help develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives and continually seek out opportunity for improvement.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Critical Knowledge And Experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience coordinating marketing programs or activities.
  • Proficiency in the use of PCs, Microsoft applications, Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AEM and Marketo experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop professional business relationships and communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
  • Ability to travel domestically on occasion

Preferred Or Required Education

Minimum Associate Degree, or equivalent, in Marketing or related field
