Job Description:
The Center of Research Excellence in
Desalination and Water Treatment at KFUPM is
seeking to fill several research positions with potential competent
Post-Doctoral candidates showing ability and desire for excellence in
desalination and water treatment research. Applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree
and has an experience in some of the following areas:
Desalination
• Membrane based desalination
• Thermal desalination
• Membrane Distillation
• Alternative emerging technologies for desalination
• Control of fouling agents and scalants
Water Treatment
• Advanced water treatment/safe drinking water
• Domestic wastewater treatment and reuse
• Industrial wastewater treatment/reuse
• Produced water (crude oil-contaminated) separation and reuse in oil wells
• Recharge of treated wastewater into groundwater aquifers
• Novel water treatment technologies
Job Responsibility:
• Write research proposals.
• Conduct basic and
applied research related to desalination and water treatment
• Publish findings
in reputable peer reviewed outlets.
• Mentorship of
Ph.D., M.Sc., and/or B.Sc. students
• Build competencies
in the area of desalination and water treatment.
Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:
Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. from a reputable institution and demonstrate aproven track record of successful scientific accomplishments in the area of desalination and water treatment, exemplified bypeer-reviewed publications.
