This position will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality aligned with customer needs throughout the designed product life.
Your tasks
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
- Lead and/or support Management of Change (MOC) projects
- Respond to customers as needed (complaints, key account management - customer agreements, customer specifications, data analysis, etc)
- Lead continual quality improvement projects to improve PPU and reduce DPPM, COPQ
- Manage CFRs (Customer Feedback and Resolution) and SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Request) within product responsibility area
- Develop test methods: documentation, training, MSA, round robins
- Develop visual standards, visual test methods, and align visual detection systems
- Product qualification planning, testing, and analysis
- Document and communicate Certification and Test Instructions pertaining to customer specific requirements
- Lead the development of QFD, FMEA, Control Plans
- Document and improve the Quality Management System
Your qualification
Basic qualification:
- O2 Engineer
- Master's degree in chemistry or a chemical, statistical, or engineering science
Preferred qualification:
- Quality Engineering experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Minimum of three years experience working with statistical tools
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
- Test method development experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Established decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Self motivated with proven ability to apply innovative solutions to problems
