Liaison Technologies is looking to immediately fill multiple full-time Software Engineering positions. As a Liaison Senior Software Engineer / Architect, you will help design and develop new custom data integration and data management solutions for Liaison's Fortune 500 customer base. The position requires good communication skills, ability to work together in cross-functional technical teams in different areas of the organization. Strong hands-on programming abilities and deep knowledge of systems architecture, functional programming, and object oriented programming concepts. Qualifications/Requirements • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience • Experience building complex, distributed, fault-tolerant, micro service based platforms • Knowledge of concurrency desired for increasing performance and scalability of systems • Comfortable working with multiple modern programming languages. We are polyglots who use Clojure, Java, Scala, Python, etc. • Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases • Experience in designing and implementing REST API’s • Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, MapR Streams, Flink, Apache Storm • Proficient on UNIX-based systems • Ability to rapidly evaluate technologies for suitability in our systems • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make hard trade-off decisions through prototyping and experience • Ability to work in both a highly collaborative environment as well as independently, without direct supervision • Have a natural passionate technical curiosity and enjoy learning new technologies; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications Desired • Containerization / Cluster Management: Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos / Marathon, Zookeeper • Big Data: Hadoop, HBase, MapR, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Samza, MapR Streams • Graph: ArangoDB, Neo4j, OrientDB, Titan • SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle • Data Warehouse: Experience with data warehouse design, data models, data marts, ETL, • DevOps: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt • Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud • Security: Knowledge of secure coding techniques, PCI, HIPAA • Machine learning: Strong familiarity with state of the art machine learning algorithms, tools and technologies • Development IDEs: IntelliJ, Eclipse, Cursive, Emacs • Source/Build tools: GitHub/GitLab, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus • Open source: GitHub/Bitbucket or similar profile with demonstrable, publicly available coding projects • Uncommon language exposure: Clojure, Rust, Go, Erlang About Liaison Technologies Liaison Technologies is a growing and energized global Integration and data management services company providing unique and high-value services to move, transform and manage business information in the cloud.
