As a Software Engineer focusing on Web-based application development, you will work on a cross-functional engineering team developing the next generation of Ping’s products. There are opportunities to collaborate with other departments throughout the development lifecycle from planning through acceptance testing.

Job Functions:

  • Development of Web-based applications for enterprise software products.
  • Develop features and enhancements from user stories or lightweight spec documents.

  • Implement automated unit and integration tests.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and product feature reviews.
  • Maintain status of assigned issues in issue tracker.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on product requirements.
  • Become a product expert in key areas to facilitate higher quality development efforts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years experience Designing and Developing Web Applications

  • 2+ Years experience with OO Design, Implementation Tools, and Methodologies
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS

  • 2+ years using JSON or XML data marshaling technologies.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java

  • Web-based application development experience using Spring Boot or Spring MVC
  • Experience with one or more Javascript libraries like React, Angular or jQuery
  • Experience in User-Centered Design and graphic design skills
  • Experience with Use-case driven and UML based design processes
  • Experience with unit testing tools
