We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As Accounts Payable Manager, you'll lead the team that guards the integrity of accounts payable sub-ledgers and everything it touches, maintaining constant vigilance for marauding inaccuracies and preventing our vendors from attacking. Your exceptional management skills and ability to design and implement creative and flexible SOX like processes and controls will make you a success at Riot.

YOU ARE:

  • Educated:you emerged from the hallowed halls of academia with a BA or BS degree in an appropriate field, or earned equivalent spurs on the job; you know that learning never stops, so you continue absorbing new knowledge every day
  • Experienced:you've spent at least ten years trekking the accounts payable trail and have led a team of four or more for at least five of those years, preferably in a public company setting
  • An ERP guru: you're pro with Oracle, SAP or other ERP applications that will allow you to hit the ground running
  • Excellent with Excel:you use Microsoft Excel to turn raw numbers into meaningful financial data, pivoting, formulating and macro-ing your colleagues into a stunned admiration
  • A people person: you're comfortable working with outside vendors as well as collaborating and commingling with fellow Rioters, especially when resolving their payable woes

YOU WILL:

  • Implement flexible, yet tight processes that keep our payments cycle on track
  • Maintain wide lanes of communication with vendors and Rioters to handle any of their concerns
  • Develop your team to instil confidence across Riot that the payables functions are OP
  • Take ownership of monthly accruals to ensure seamless recording of expenses
  • Root out the cause of any account discrepancies, and turn conflicting numbers into synchronized data
