Job Responsibilities:
  • Support manufacturing operations through development and documentation of metal fabrication processes, continuous improvement projects, resolution of quality issues.
  • Support strategic growth plan for the plan through execution of capital equipment projects including locating suppliers, developing equipment requirements, reviewing supplier proposals, and writing the capital requests with assistance from the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
  • Work alongside design engineering to provide manufacturability input to the design process.
  • Assist the maintenance department with implementation of Total Productive Maintenance plans for supporting plant equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • No relocation offered for this position, candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Sherman, TX facility.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on an ongoing basis.
Position Criteria:
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powepoint Use
  • Project Management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • 1 or more years of professional engineering experience
  • Experience with Solid Modeling software. Preferably Solidworks.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Lean Manufacturing experience or Exposure
  • Welding or painting experience preferred
  • Metal Fabrication Experience
