The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabancı University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in the field of Optoelectronics. Research areas of interest range across the whole spectrum in optoelectronics/photonics, in particular, the optical, and electronic properties of solid-state and molecular/organic semiconductors for optical components, lasers, light emitting diodes, solar cells, photodetectors, fiber optics, optics, photovoltaics, or printed optoelectronics, etc., in the next generation photonic and optoelectronic applications, including, but nor limited to, defense, consumer electronics, imaging, communication, renewable energy.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a strong research and publication record in the area of optoelectronics/photonics. Applications are sought at Assistant or Associate Professor levels.
Candidates who can bring new research perspectives to FENS, and also demonstrate the potential to collaborate with existing FENS faculty members will be preferred.
