Job Summary:
The Clinical Services Technician III for Transplant Services is essential to outpatient clinic flow and patient care. The responsibilities of this position include: providing excellent customer service to all customers, including health care providers, family and payors; answering phone calls; providing basic medical support, to include rooming patients, taking vital signs, gathering patient history, etc.; chaperone visits as needed; check-out patients; schedule patients for test and procedures; checking insurance coverage and obtaining authorization; maintain clinic cleanliness and organization; and adhering to UK Healthcare Behavioral Expectations for Service and Excellence at all times.
