.NET Software Engineer / C# Software Developer (Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

  • The Senior .Net Developer will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. In this crucial role, you will be involved with the design, development, testing, and support of a suite of applications ranging from web applications, windows services, WCF services, and thick-clients which enable our customers to safely operate at peak performance and within the law

Job Requirements

To qualify as a .NET Software Engineer you must be proficient with VS2010, TFS, and MS Unit Testing Framework and have architectural experience with multi-tiered applications and design principals, including repository, IoC, and MVC design patterns.

Additional requirements of the .NET Software Engineer include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • 3 years of iterative software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience with database design and writing SQL; Oracle, preferred
  • Strong understanding of at least one ORM; NHibernate, preferred
  • Experience with MSMQ and DTC, preferred
  • Experience with PL/SQL, preferred
  • Microsoft Certification, preferred

Responsibilities:

Object oriented analysis and design

LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework, NHibernate or other OR/M

Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)

Support and maintenance of existing systems

.NET Software Engineer / C# Software Developer (Engineering)

Required Qualification or Skills:

  • Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Experience with Web technologies such as Asp.Net Web forms, Asp.Net MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
  • C#, .Net, WPF and WinCE6 Experience
  • Experience with Web Services, WCF and Service Oriented Architecture a plus
  • Experience with concurrent development source control and continuous integration

Additional Nice to have Skills (A PLUS):

  • Experience with WPF
  • StructureMap, Ninject, Unity or other IoC/DI container
