The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (FEA) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in Industrial Engineering at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. AUB is a historic university with programs of study in all major fields and a large medical center.
Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. degree in the area of Industrial Engineering or in a closely-related field, with at least one degree in engineering. Candidates with research interests in all industrial engineering areas, especially in stochastic processes, manufacturing systems and quality engineering, are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the candidate's field, participate in program development, and be active in research.
