T4 Mechatronic Engineer

Here at TechCorps, A Farheap Company, we use a T rating system to describe the skill level and seniority/expertise of each candidate defined T1-T4. This position, as listed at the top of the job description, is our T4 level role. T4 is our highest level role individual contributor role and for the Mechatronic department that will mean you have an expert level background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and IT. The T4 person will be someone that has 10+ years of experience in each of these disciplines and is a self-starter that will need no guidance in any of the mentioned disciplines.

Job Competencies / Requirements

  • B.S. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other relevant field
  • Significant experience in mechanical design & fabrication
    • Significant experience in electronics design & test
    • Significant experience in automation, controls, and programming
    • Industry experience in printing or other manufacturing environments is a plus
    • On the floor hands-on mechanical and electronic maintenance, repair, set up, or troubleshooting experience.
    • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent references
    • Experience in leading projects
    • Knowledge of systematic problem solving.
    • Testing, and optimization of actuators and associated mechanics
    • Testing, and optimization of drive electronics and control algorithms
    • AD design of moving mechanical parts, machining/fabrication of prototype units
