This team has high visibility and serves as an integral link between the Business Unit (BU) finance teams we support and Corporate finance. In this position you will benefit from having a high level view of Corporate’s initiatives and being responsible for communicating that to the BUs, while partnering with them to address any issues and questions. This position and team are designed to be “gateway/feeder” positions, whereby after 12-18mos on the team; thus, you would be expected to identify a future business unit or functional finance role. Strong candidates will be considered for the Senior Financial Analyst role on the team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in Financial Planning & Analysis Consolidation Function for two Groups (Financial Institutions Group [FIG] and Digital Banking Group [DBG]), representing ~$1.8B in annual revenue for Fiserv
  • Participates on monthly close and forecast calls to understand and ensure reasonableness of key variances to plan and prior forecasts
  • Accurately prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated reporting for the FIG and DBG, submitting reports to Group and Corporate CFO, respectively
  • Acts as liaison between Corporate FP&A and BU FP&A teams, communicating requirements, action items, and reporting cadence
  • Establishes and communicates monthly and quarterly guidance on requirements for Operations, Board of Directors, and other key reports
  • Responds timely to BU and Corporate requests for support and additional information
  • Supports creation of annual and multi-year strategic plans
  • Monitors and establishes internal controls to assure proper compliance
  • Performs ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management
  • Supports Global Finance initiatives and M&A due diligence as needed
  • Establishes and leverages relationships with Finance peers across supported BUs and with Corporate to help perform job duties

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years business related experience in fast paced, demanding finance environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • MBA or MBA track preferred
  • 3 yrs progressive MS Excel and MS PowerPoint experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 yrs relevant finance experience
  • SAP, BPC, and/or SAP Business Analyzer experience
