Job Description:
The position of Executive Assistant to the Chairman, External Relations and Office Manager BBI will be responsible for administrative and development duties in support of the BBI Chairman and BBI senior leadership, supervising support staff, performing and assisting with HR and Payroll tasks, and coordinating efforts with Syracuse University and College of Law Offices of Advancement and External Affairs.
The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, serving as BBI’s first point of contact with its chairman, external constituents, stakeholders, collaborative partners, and departments across the University.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably in an academic or non-profit organization.
• Managerial experience is preferred, mentoring, and training employees.
• Experience in higher education administration, Board development and management, fundraising, and donor development activities.
