SugarCRM is seeking a high-energy, detail and results-oriented individual with experience designing and implementing cross-functional marketing programs across the US and Canada.

You will interact directly with an excited field sales team and a motivated channel partner network to support pre-sales efforts by designing high impact go-to-market strategies and initiatives. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to translate global company and campaign-level objectives into actionable regional marketing plans. You will also have responsibility for messaging and positioning to regional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute targeted regional marketing plans to bring together corporate programs and regional opportunities, including but not limited to demand generation campaigns, executive programs, field events, trade shows and partner programs.
  • Understand complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for CRM software and services purchases. Provide support through sales tools, training and market expertise to the sales force.
  • Build and maintain ongoing communications with the regional sales VPs and directors, demand generation peers and account executives.
  • Help drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and creating brand awareness activities.
  • Forecast, measure and analyze impact of programs on sales cycles; produce weekly reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and region success.
  • Assist event and marketing program managers in developing regional and campaign specific target lists through the CRM database.
  • Communicate with sales in order to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs.
  • Identify sales training needs and collaboratively develop programs to address field sales knowledge weakness.

Skills / Experience
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in managing marketing programs within the software industry
  • Experience with market and brand awareness programs, direct marketing, demand generation, adaptation of corporate marketing initiatives, partner communications, developing and implementing joint-marketing plans with partners, and driving new partner promotional program initiatives
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM software. SugarCRM and Marketo experience preferred
  • Excellent program manager, able to implement a program from start to finish and follow through with results tracking
  • Experience developing and implementing a variety of marketing programs with proven success
  • Experience managing external vendors/agencies
  • Analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Deliver extraordinary customer relationships
  • BA in Marketing or equivalent
  • Respect and expect accountability
