Job Description
A research assistant position is available in the laboratories of Prof. Bassam Ali (Departments of Pathology and Genetics and Genomics), College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The position is to elucidate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of human genetic conditions. The successful candidates should have at least a BSc degree in a biomedical sciences discipline with research experience in more than one of the following research areas: molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, genomics, human molecular genetics or protein chemistry. The position is supported by a grant from the United Arab Emirates University initially for six months. Salary is tax-free and is in the range of 4000-5000 UAE Dirhams per month, commensurate with training and experience.
