DESCRIPTION

The Center for Healthy Aging and the Study of Healthy Aging and Applied Research Programs (SHAARP) lab are seeking multiple full time Human Research Technologists to work on studies with older adults. These positions will involve working on multiple aspects of the studies, including, but not limited to, participant outreach, recruitment, scheduling, data collection, data monitoring, and data entry. Administrative duties may include assisting with training and monitoring part time undergraduate and graduate assistants, staff, ordering supplies, managing equipment used by study participants (tablets and cell phones), and preparing mailings to participants and outreach sites. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with data entry, Microsoft Office, tablets and other devices is preferred. Previous experience with cognitive testing would be a bonus. Applicants should possess good communication skills, enjoy working with older adults, have excellent time management skills, work well in a team environment, and be able to work in a very detail-oriented fashion. Some flexibility for early or late hours may be necessary on occasion. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
