Responsibilities:

This Program Manager in the School of Nursing Clinical Placement Office will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the clinical operations of the School of Nursing with primary focus on the placement of students for clinical and practicum educational experiences. Key responsibilities include clinical placement database administration and management, as well as, creation and maintenance of a comprehensive clinical course communications infrastructure. This position will serve as the main contact within and outside the School and will require operation at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth program and departmental operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with experience in healthcare-related field preferred or equivalent education and experience that includes 2-3 years prior administrative experience in nursing education or health care agency. Must demonstrate advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Experience and exposure to multiple applications including, but not limited to, databases and other computer systems strongly desired. Experience with E-Value system a plus. Should possess excellent communications skills, including verbal and written with editing experience. Must demonstrate well-developed skills related to organizing, prioritizing, and delegating as appropriate. Must possess exemplary customer service orientation with both internal and external customers. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success. Ability and willingness to travel often between Burlington site and Boston campus.
