The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the Florida A&M University (FAMU)-Florida State University (FSU) College of Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in biomedical nanomaterials. While our preference is for an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, appropriately qualified applicants could be appointed at the Full Professor Level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline. The Department has a dynamic group of faculty active in research across various areas of chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials science and engineering. Moreover, the successful candidate will have many opportunities to interact and collaborate with the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, FSU College of Medicine, FSU Interdisciplinary Program in Materials Science and Engineering, FSU Institute of Molecular Biophysics, FSU Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship, and FSU Departments of Scientific Computing, and Chemistry and Biochemistry as well as the FAMU Departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry and Physics.
