The new Nanovisualization group led by Assoc. Prof. Ivan Viola at the Visual Computing Center targets high-impact research and publications at the top venues of visualization and visual computing. Researchers will have excellent opportunities for professional development by obtaining a unique competence in multiscale 3D visualization for life sciences and in collaborative research with top-ranked scientific institutions worldwide.

The Visual Computing Center is KAUST’s hub for research activities spanning all areas of visual computing, including visualization, imaging, computer vision, and computer graphics, as well as interdisciplinary applications of visual computing. The VCC offers a unique combination of an intellectually stimulating environment and access to superb facilities, including KAUST’s large-scale visualization facilities and supercomputer.

Qualifications
The Visual Computing Center (VCC) at KAUST invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellows. Suitable candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science, most preferably Computer Graphicsor in Visualization, excellent programming skills, and a strong publication track record.
