Job Description:

The Graduate Intern will report to the Assistant Director in the Office of Health Promotion within the Division of Enrollment & Student Experience. This position will assist with the planning, implementation, promotion and evaluation of theory and evidence-based health promotion strategies, programs, and outreach. The primary responsibility for this role will be to oversee outreach efforts, including health hub programming. The Graduate Assistant will also assist with engaging, training, and providing ongoing support to peer education programs and student peer educators.

The position will require some weeknight and weekend commitments. This position will begin on or around Monday August 19th 2019 and go until the end of the academic year May 2020.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Syracuse University masters or doctoral degree program and demonstrate an interest in student wellness and prevention and an understanding of general service to students. Majoring in Public Health, Higher Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work and other related disciplines.
