We are seeking an energetic new college graduate to join our G&A FP&A team in the role of Financial Analyst supporting the IT organization at NVIDIA. In this role, you will be helping with financial analysis and reporting for the organization. What you'll be doing:
Provide in-depth financial analysis of actual spend to drive insights on trends, investment areas and opportunities to optimize cost driving better decision making.
Monitor key financial metrics and business drivers for large capital investments, enterprise softwares and headcount
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting package
Assist in developing the forecasting models for various spend categories to slice and dice data and understand the financial health of each department
Detail oriented and highly analytical, and able to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messaging.
Own financial data and reports to ensure they are both accurate and updated
What we need to see:
BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, engineering or related field with analytical bias
Strong Microsoft Excel and data visualization skills is required, SAP and BPC experience is a plus
Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
Extraordinary ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects
Passionate about learning new technologies and have a great intellectual curiosity
Inherent ability to regularly challenge the status quo
A “can do” attitude to affect change within the organization
An ability to balance being working in the weeds as well as seeing the big picture
