Summary:

Coordinates students’ academic progress and attendance with GEAR UP First Year Services Coordinator. Assists GEAR UP First Year Services in planning and providing GEAR UP academic, outreach, and group activities.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree plus one year of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Must have basic academic skills as a result of a completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and have sufficient college preparation to pursue a college curriculum and knowledge of college requirements/admissions.

 Knowledge of social media.

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

 Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 Must demonstrate the ability to organize schedules, prioritize tasks, and follow-through on assignments.

 Ability to successfully interact with students with diverse cultural and academic backgrounds

Pay Range:

$10.25 - $13.50
