The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, York University, is seeking two outstanding candidates, one at the rank of Associate Professor and one at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the area of Communications and Controls although exceptional applicants from other areas in Electrical Engineering may also be considered. One of the positions is aimed at vision and robotic systems and will be partially supported by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) Vision: Science to Application (VISTA) program http://vista.info.yorku.ca/. Successful candidates will have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, and a research record commensurate with rank. The appointments will commence on July 1, 2018, subject to budgetary approval.
