Our marketing organization has been instrumental to Guidewire’s success to date and will play a pivotal role in ensuring we achieve our mission of helping insurers to adapt and succeed. We are looking for an experienced campaign project manager to join our team in Foster City, CA. The campaign project manager is responsible for coordinating with his/her colleagues in marketing and with sales to plan, develop, and implement outbound marketing campaigns. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. The intent is to bring someone on on a contract basis with the potential of a FT position in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage multiple outbound marketing campaigns that are message and/or product based.
- Ensure goals, scope and metrics of campaigns are well understood.
- Take leadership role in defining campaign strategy and tactics, e.g. elements of marketing mix that will be used.
- Manage day to day activities to ensure campaigns are on track, that status is maintained and that performance is continually measured.
- Run campaign team meetings to ensure team is aligned and there is forum for issue resolution.
- Track effectiveness of campaigns by maintaining campaign target and actual metrics.
- Develop reports to communicate status to stakeholders.
- Serve as mentor to others serving in campaign project manager role.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience of managing marketing campaigns, preferably for a high technology company.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, keeping projects on-track and on-budget.
- Experience developing and maintaining project budgets.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to successfully drive cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com and Marketo a plus.
