Become part of a growing team for an established lender expanding their consumer credit risk and analytics department. This position will be responsible for the development of credit risk policy and account management strategy across product lines. Current experience analyzing data using SAS is required.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize SAS to analyze data for acquisition strategy, underwriting, loss minimization, fraud detection, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities

· Use SAS and statistical models to predict consumer patterns and trends

· Analyze credit data to determine risk and provide management with informed and well-defended

recommendations

· Analyze transaction management strategies for credit products

· Provide analytical expertise to support all financial products for ongoing and ad-hoc projects

· Interact with the Statistical Data Modeling team to facilitate the implementation of decision models and the

creation of accurate, meaningful data for business analytics

· Develop reporting for losses and profitability for account management

· Work across different functions to support new products

· Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative field

· Professional industry experience using SAS

· MINIMUM OF 1 year of industry experience in risk management AFTER completion of degree (preferably

2+ years of industry experience)

· Experience working in financial services is a plus

· Demonstrated ability in applying analytics to drive business strategy

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present

conclusions across a wide range of audiences

· Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable, customer strategies which will make an impact on business
