Pay Range:
$25/hr (Non-Exempt Staff); $1700 (Exempt Staff)
Hours:
200 sections with a wide range of 80-minute time blocks M-F.
Job Description:
Lead Facilitators will work in conjunction with a current undergraduate peer facilitator to guide discussion for a section of SEM 100, which is comprised of approximately 20 first year students in the Fall 2020 semester for a duration of six weeks. These discussions are anchored around creating a sense of belonging within the Syracuse University community. Discussions will include dialogue around race, class, gender and other topics related to equity and inclusion. Facilitators will be provided with a curriculum guide, training, and ongoing support throughout the duration of SEM 100. Lead facilitators will meet with their peer facilitator outside of class hours for course planning. Lead facilitators will also be invited and encouraged to attend, campus events, beginning with orientation weekend that SEM 100 students will be attending.

Qualifications:
• Full time employment at Syracuse University – internal applicants
• Minimum 2 years within the Syracuse University community preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Approval from the applicant’s current supervisor
