Summary:
Utah Valley University invites applications for a one-year Non-Tenure Track Lecturer in the department of Public & Community Health. This individual in this position will teach 5 courses each semester which may include Personal Health & Wellness, Intro to Health Professions, Principles of Community Health, Public Health Organization & Policy, Public Health Administration.The lecturer will plan, develop, and follow an approved course of study that includes measurable objectives for each course taught. Prepares instructional materials, supervises the classroom, and evaluates instruction and learning by means of written, verbal, and practical assessments. Adjusts teaching based on peer and supervisor feedback on teaching evaluations. Maintains and submits accurate and current reports and records related to student accountability, attendance, performance, and follow-up. Establishes and maintains office hours and advises students as needed. Attends department and college meetings as needed. Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a minimum earned master’s degree in public health, or health administration. Evidence of successful teaching (Student Rating of Instructor, Peer Evaluations of teaching).
