The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oakland University (OU) invites applicants to join our faculty as a full time Special Instructor in Electronics starting in January 2018. Applicants must have earned either an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Teaching with commitment to excellence and dedication to university and professional service is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in electronics and evidence of the ability to successfully teach and develop courses and laboratories in introductory electrical engineering topics for undergraduate and lower-division graduate classes. Favorable consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate the ability and commitment to working with students and faculty through our summer programs and workshops. OU is a Ph.D. offering public institution located in southeastern Michigan at the intellectual center of the Automotive Industry, adjacent to the Oakland Technology Park, and within the Oakland County Automation Alley.
