Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Launch-Plans, designs, and coordinates integration of machinery and equipment into secondary manufacturing processes.
- Optimization Processes-Trains secondary operators in safe and efficient manufacturing processes per work instructions.
Monitors equipment performance, maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Determines parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedule required to maintain machines and equipment in prescribed condition.
- Hands-on Continuous Improvement-Develops models of alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of systems components, and recommends implementation of improved procedures.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- At least 2+ years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Auto CAD experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC machines; ability to set up and operate.
- Knowledge of PLC and SPC.
