Candidate will be required to effectively manage all phases of geotechnical project delivery, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing. Demonstrates skill in: development of scope of work, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedules; quality management plans; developing project staffing plans that includes the right resources; development of a quality assurance plan, health and safety plan and peer review team members; effective communication with team members, client and stakeholders; risk analysis and mitigation; and procurement of sub consultants, subcontractors, and other direct project costs. Follows Kleinfelder policies and procedures for project proposing and delivery including using. Effectively uses Kleinfelder workflows and processes to secure project resources, maintain project records, monitor budgets, invoice clients, collect receivables, and close out projects. Works effectively with project controls support staff to monitor budget, schedule and achieve financial target metrics for all projects. Mentors and coaches project team members and provides constructive feedback on team member performance. Executes project to meet or exceed client expectations while meeting industry standard of care. Candidate will also be required to have good Business Development and Marketing skills to prepare proposals, lead short-list interview process, procure work, and develop contracts, Works with client organization staff and Client Account Manager to identify, develop, and propose on future work assignments.

Experience: 10 – 15 years of related experience, 8 – 10 years project management experience and knowledge of latest analytical and technical methods, applicable laws and regulations required. 3 – 5 years supervisory/management experience required.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Master’s degree preferred.

Registrations: PE and GE required
