complete range of transducers and electronic systems for the monitoring of engines, turbines and other
rotating machinery in both the aerospace and energy industries.
To further strengthen our “Software Engineering” department, we are currently looking for a Embedded
Software Engineer, specialized in real time embedded software development.
The position
The incumbent will integrate a team of experienced engineers and will contribute on a daily basis to
manage a team dedicated to specific projects, implement, document and test software module, interact
with project leaders, line manager and the customers Your main responsibilities are:
Full project life cycle experice from planning through producing software requirements
Developing architectural and module designs
Performing integration and validation tests
Certification of the product within projects targets and deadlines
Your profile
Graduated in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
5 to 8 years of embedded software development in industrial environments (aerospace, medical
or automotive)
Experience in team management (team size of 2 to 5 engineers)
Strong C/C++ skills
Strong technical knowledge of embedded software (software architecture, hardware drivers,
low-level drivers around DSP, multicore processors). Knowledge of TCP/IP, AFDX, CAN and
ARINC429
Knowledge of VxWork is an asset
Strong experience in team management (team size could be from 2 to 8 software engineers)
Knowledge of DO-178C (or equivalent standard)
Knowledge of FAA/JAA aspect of certification is mandatory: process and SOI audits
Autonomous and pro-active, good communication skills, open attitude
Good working levels required in English and French
