Job Details:
Assist with testing, debugging, and verifying circuits, circuit boards and electronic systems.
Assist with the design and analysis of digital and analog electronic circuits.
Research electronic components.
Assist in the research of commercial hardware for use in UTAS Westford products.
Assist in writing specifications.
Learn hardware development tools and apply them in generating engineering drawings.
Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office application, such as WORD, EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of engineering design tools a plus.
Previous Intern/Co-op experience a plus.
Circuit analysis training a plus.
General knowledge of a hardware descriptive language (VHDL/Verilog) desirable.
Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Enthusiastic, energetic team player eager to learn and perform a wide variety of tasks in support of electrical engineering product development and support.
Education Must have completed at least one year in an electrical engineering curriculum, or equivalent, at an accredited engineering university as of the end of the Spring 2017 Semester. A
