Estimates repairs needed and prepares service quotes for products in order to meet current standards.
-Evaluates, troubleshoots, and performs repairs that result in the product meeting current manufacturer requirements and standards.
- Completes all associated repair documentation, including repair service orders, unit and parts evaluations, etc. Completes all computer entry in compliance with established standards or procedures.
- Tracks labor costs and parts used in the repair process.
- Communicates all findings or potential future problems with components to Q.A. and customers through documented descriptions entered into the notes section of repair database records.
- May be responsible for reviewing, documenting, logging, maintaining and/or initiating the investigation for potentially serious complaints.
- Maintains workplace organization, standards and safe working environments in line with company policies.
- Remains current on changes in policies, procedures and products
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
