Duties:
- Work in the Development Engineering team responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of large scale enterprise solutions
- Provide technical support for solutions developed
- Work on projects as assigned, must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Responsible for vendor evaluations, selection and proof of concept analysis
- Cross train operational teams on new solutions and technologies
- Identify gaps in existing network solutions and make suggestions on corrective action
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in network design and implementation
- 2+ years of experience working in large service provider networks
- Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE
- Experience with programming languages (Perl or Python)
- Experience in design and implementation of secure tunneling technologies such as IPsec for large scale deployment
- Experience with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
- Excellent communication skills required, must be able to present highly complex solutions to an executive audience
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls
- Experience working in a geographically redundant networks
- Experience with Linux and VMware
